My coworker was showing me her stash of 100-calories packs today and I noticed she had the Nutter Butter cookies, which instantly reminded me of my favorite snack. I was taken back to high-school era memories of going to Target, picking up a bag of this snack, and heading over to Steele Lake with my friends or sisters to sun-bathe. My favorite snack was not Nutter Butters. No, it was something more special. Something so unique. Something so mouth-watering delicious, I get tears in my eyes thinking about them (okay not really, but they were pretty damn good). P......B......Crisps.
Those of you who know what I'm talking about just flashed back to one of your own PB Crisps memories. Those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about...I am so very sorry that you didn't get to taste the most amazing snack that has ever graced this planet before Planters (owned by Kraft) discontinued them. That's right, PB Crisps are no longer available. The reason is unfathomable. As I discovered today with a Google search, this phenomenon is so mind-bloggingly disappointing that you can join hundreds of other PB Crisp-mourners in their efforts to persuade Kraft to bring them back simply by signing this petition:
